Intense and scented, the Mendula is characterized by a golden yellow color and with a persistent aftertaste of roasted almonds. Hence the name Mendula, which in Sardinian means almond. It's a wine with a long life, made to last in time just like the traditions that it's tied to. The vine of the malvasia is cultivated from time immemorial in the Marmilla where, thanks to the clay-rich and calcareous soils, it is able to express its characteristics in the best possible way. An age-old story ties the malvasia with the Marmilla. The Mendula is ideal as an aperitif and to accompany noble fish or almond-based desserts
